Lan uage Arts Goes Back T Ba I The English teachers at CSHS constantly work with their students, trying to increase their knowledge of language and literature through the use of lengthy vocabulary work sheets, and the reading of many novels. The Language Arts program emphasizes a basic skills approach in the 9th grade, stresses grammar in the lOth grade and finally zeroes in on composition in the llth grade.
