Plays Were Sma h Hits!! Last year's feature productions Up the Down Staircase and Lil Abner were both smash hits. Whether they must portray a way down south family or a modern school with all the chaos possible, CSHS's Thespian troop J-T704 can handle it with a style and flair of their own. In Up the Down Staircase , the plot centered around Slyvia Barret, played by Sandy Courakos and Paul Barringer played by .leff Abbaticchio. Both of the l above graduated last year. With the help of Michele Edwards and other drama members the Thespian troop deserved a standing ovation for a job well done. till' A shy, misunderstood boy, a kind but slightly screwy girl, and a typical street punk helped make up the cast of Up the Down Staircase .
