Interact was a new service club in school this year. Their approximately l5O members met every other Tuesday. Their major goals were To help the school in work or service projects, to make it better and To help bring students together, to make new friends and social contacts. Achieves Goal Trying to maintain harmonious relationships between all members of the student body, faculty, and staff of Coral Springs High was the purpose of the Human Relations club. While encouraging a decrease in suspensions, academic failures, dropouts and pushouts, the club tried to increase student involvement in school activities. This year the club started by achieving a long sought goals peer counseling and parent effectiveness training. Ms. Smilen-Cervantes spon- sored the club. Q ,,,. .
