Marin Biology Studies New Concepts 5 Club members help de seafood dinner. corate cafeteria for the The Marine Biology club is an interesting organization that studies the marine life and beach environment. Some of the activities that furthered their studies were trips to such places as, Bear Cut in Miami, Planet Ocean, a spring camping trip to the keys and a visit to a marine institute on the west coast. Also to donate money and to display different kinds of seafood, the club sponsored a seafood dinner in December. The president of the club was John Kalmer and the advisor was Ms. Blyler. Coun il Student Council was run differently, but very smoothly this year. Because of the number of students in the school, it was decided home room representatives from every classroom would be unrea- sonable, so representatives from each of the four classes were elected. The council was in charge of Homecoming week. Led by President Dave Parker and the sponsor Ms. Thornburg they did a good job during the week and throughout the year. Genia Polhemus has COLT spirit.
