Competition is for Academic Games A450 6 ga flu Il' 22 'kde A MQ fi-'li eg. , Sponsor Ms. Moore with president Leslie Carroll and Vice President Terri Stanford. Ms. Moore guided Academic games. which has been active this year. From October to December they prepared for and participated in the county Math competition in which they worked out equations and onsets. They prepared for and attended the county Social Studies competition from February to March. From January to February and March to April members worked on Linguistic and Propoganda and strange bedfellows for the county English competition. Marin Biology Studies New Concepts 5 Club members help de seafood dinner. corate cafeteria for the The Marine Biology club is an interesting organization that studies the marine life and beach environment. Some of the activities that furthered their studies were trips to such places as, Bear Cut in Miami, Planet Ocean, a spring camping trip to the keys and a visit to a marine institute on the west coast. Also to donate money and to display different kinds of seafood, the club sponsored a seafood dinner in December. The president of the club was John Kalmer and the advisor was Ms. Blyler.
