CDR P. C. Ebert Department Head CDR J. F. Sadler Department Head CRD 1 Dental Department A dental patient is analogous to an alcoholic. To solve his problem requires three prerequisites: First, recognize the problem. Second, they must want help, and finally, they must know where to go. The place to go is the Dental Department. The four dentists, an oral surgeon, and ten technicians treat between 65 and 75 patients daily. They can handle any area of dental maintenance with the exception of major castings. Because it is important to diagnose problems early, preventive dentistry is the basis for all major work beginning with a very thorough checkup. A viable dental program and efficient administration of dental records are the main priorities of the dental officer, CDR P. Ebert. In the last two years he has expanded the case output over 300 percent.
