The thoughts the hopes the impressions of these men are CORAL SEA. A gray carrier steams out of San Francisco Bay An observer on Golden Gate Bridge sees only a large steel ship He does not realize that within that ship are three thousand six hundred extremely complex in- dividuals a melting pot of America Yet for seven months these individuals combine to form an effective fighting ship a deterrent to aggression For each man a cruise in the Far East has a different meaning.
