With the familiar Words I relieve you, sir! a new skipper takes charge of one of the largest ships in the Navy and the Welfare and safety of the thirty-five hundred men that man her. It was with a mixture of regret and anticipa- tion that the crew witnessed the meaningful 0135? of two captains who were to leave so much with the ship. With sincere thanks and best wishes from all han-ds, Capt. H. H. Caldwell took his de- parture after a long and successful voyage, and with good luck for the cruise ahead, Capt. H. E. Sears was welcomed aboard. Capt. and Mrs. Caldwell en- joy sharing cruise experiences with wardroom officers and their wives at farewell party.
