...A D HERE HE IS!...MA RRAY! Mrs. Irene Murray is her real name but she is Ma Murray to those of us who have been lucky enough to have had her in class. Even those who have not been so fortunate will treasure Ma-Murray stories forever. Her teaching methods approach the unorthodox but the results are perfect. Everyone, but everyone, understood that triangle ABC was congruent to triangle DEF. Those color chalk diagrams had something to do with it. The underdog in any situation is Mrs. Mur- ray's choice to defend with adroit humor and stimulating advice. Showing the squares the angles. With sincere appreciation for a friendly and interesting member of the faculty, we dedicate this CA VALEON of 1957 to Ma Murray. MRS. IRENE MURRAY With her feet firmly planted on the ground of the 200 hall, math becomes practically pain- less in her enthusiastic and friendly hands. She was part of the staff at old Ponce De Leon in the gay and carefree days when one hundred seniors was a new record and all the students knew each other. We are a much larger school now but Ma Murray still knows all of us. In her checkered career Mrs. Murray has been a sponsor for various groups and classes. fWe should mention that she is very interested in dogs as well as students.
