She is always ready with advice and encourage- ment in any situation. EDWARD COOK-Dean of Boys LOUISE STEWART-Dean of Girls Our Dean of Boys, lVlr. Ed- ward Cook, is discerningly quiet and capable. If he is hard to amuse it is because he has heard so many stories from the boys that he knows all of the punch lines. Still he can solve any problem either school or extracurricular with kindly wisdom.

Pres- ident Cary Findlay stressed school spirit throughout football season with enthusiastic pep assemblies, school colors and topped off with the largest Homecoming Week ever seen at Gables High. Presi- dent Bill Heaton got off to a flying start advertising spring sports and promoting other student activities. Another major aim of the Coun- cil this year has been the better- ment of the school campus with the faculty and students working harmoniously.
