The handbook is published bi-annually by stu- dent council as a free service to new students. an ,. Y:-Mt. ,Hamm I 9 Q5 Hi-Y members: David Hall, George Rowe, Charles Eikenberry, Lynn Grantham, Gordon Mc- Comb, Roy Rohe, and Dennis Swigert force the sale of their STUDENT DIRECTORY on Sar- ah Dunn and Barbara Williams. The directory is an annual project of this Hi-Y chapter. Funds are used to support the club in its service to the school.

From nine to four each day, the fight against deadlines never ceases. g'Scoop', has his own bi-weekly clash over ads with Carolyn Criswell. Betty Ann Cooke tears her hair over Upublicity-happyn clubs. Feature editors, Ann- ette Crofton, Cynthia Pangia, and Sallie Creel, spend most of their time on bonded knee, begging for FUNNY features! Phantom Stroller copy appears mysteriously under the door, and they breathe a sigh of relief. 'iwhereis the photographer?U wail Carole Mann and Peggy Borman, Headlines are Waterloo for Linda Williams. North-East-West-South, Tommy Morris and Pat Ussery comb the school for news. Tears are shed and 508 is always good for happy VPD little heated arguments between staff members. Still they wouldnvt trade jobs for the world. Their reward comes in the creation of a new and better publication with each edition. To the Hnewspaper-struckw the High Lights is a human or- ganismian immortal, living record of the achievements of you, the students.
