Gables students are extreme- ly fortunate in that they are offered experiences and op- portunities which few schools SLIIPHSS. As well as learning to cook and sew, a girl can learn child care, good grooming, eti- quette, home nursing, meal planning and preparation, and consumer buying and budget- ing.
