Billy Gage and Joe Ferrell watch some of the events that are taking place at the Twirp Dance. The limbo and the crowning of the Twirp king Scott Morrison and queen Jessica Temple were the highlights of the night. Paying for their pictures to be taken are John Pantekoek and Melissa Middleton. Jason Hagen and Mandy Magnuson dance to some Hawaiian music during the twirp. The theme was “Tropical Paradise.” John Beaver tastes some delicious bread at the snack bar. Dancing to the music that was put on by Aaron Hardmen are Michele Finley and her date, Mitch Brown. Dances 11 Sitting one out are Travis Petershick, Roger Beers, Scott Morrison and Mike Napier. Stacy Trees and Eva Thornberry spice up the night with their decorative costumes. Eva’s (right) is made from one coconut cut in half, a flower and thin straps. Trenton Galusha and his mother join in the dancing with Richard Schafer and Travis Petershick. Along with many other delightful decorations at the Twirp Dance was a papier-mache pig that decorated the snack bar table. Danny Homenyk and Shannon Mahlberg chat while enjoying a strawberry daiquiri. Luckman, Eric Lyons. Kim Maggard, Jason Magnuson, Marna Mai. John Marquez, Trisha Class of 1988

Field Trips 13 After the play, Bill Forbes, Brian Waddington, Willy Layton and Chris MacQuarrie take time to relax and enjoy the weather. Brian is pointing at the ducks that were in the pond. Monica MacQuarrie and Leah Preston observe closely while Troy LaBrec lifts a rock while something else catches Brett Wisely’s eye. The trail the biology 2 students took was very intimidating. Bonnie Slagle looks over her shoulder to see where she started from as Mr. Klemm makes sure everyone makes it down safely. Chaperone Judy Blomquist spent her time and money at the sewing shops in the Grants Pass mall. The students were allowed to stop at the mall for an hour to shop, relax, or as most people did, play video games and eat. After a long day of climbing over rocks, Mr. Johnson and Troy LaBrec relax on the beach while waiting for the rest of the class. Richie Lattin and Rhonda Lucero marvel at a couple of swans that make up the beauty of the area around the Shakespearean Theater. Heidi Howard has a seat on a rock so she can look over her notes. While in Ashland, Derek Brice and John Beaver enjoyed playing on the spiral-shaped slide. A tide pool was where Troy LaBrec decided to go fishing for a rock. Troy though this pool was only about two feet deep but it was actually closer to four feet. McKeown, Michelle Meithof, Brian Miller, Carl Miller, Kevin Miller, Skip Mitchell, Ernest Class of 1988
