Goals for the band: new uniforms and Marriott’s Great America The varsity and concert bands have worked very hard throughout the summer and school year to raise money for their new band uniforms and trip to Marriott's Great America, an amusement park in San Francisco, California. Members of the band have collected old newspapers throughout the summer and school year. The newspapers were sold to be recycled. Other fund raising projects were spaghetti and chili feeds, JV concessions, selling moped raffle tickets, magazine and candy sales, and several carwashes. Various clubs have contributed money towards the purchase of the band uniforms. The band traveled to Oregon State University to participate in the OSU band day. Out of 54 bands, Coquille placed third. The bands have performed for the public in many concerts including the Christmas concert, winter concert, and the spring concert. 26 Music
