They accepted the invitations and went to work with shaving cream and bits of balloons flying. Other events during the week included a sophomore shoe-shine day and a Freshman garbage pick-up day in which the Freshmen were found crawling around the halls collecting litter that just happened to be dropped by upper class-men. Next on the agenda was slave day. On this day the masculine role was protrayed by the girls. Instead of the boys opening doors and carrying books, the girls did. I love your outfit! , was a familiar expression observed on critter and clash day. And, as the name implies, many different stuffed critters appeared on the scene. The surprise came when a live critter showed up! The dance, following dress-up day, was a big success. The biggest event of the evening was when Pekka defeated his competitors: Junior: Quentin Wolfe; Sophomore: Mitch Morgan; Freshman: Dane Thommen; and was crowned Lil Abner.
