Staff Prints Bi-weekly Paper Informing students of the past, present, and future events, THE DEVILS’ TORCH, under the guidance of editor Donna Brown and advisor Willard Mohn, did a good job of representing our school this year. Many hopes and ideas had to be discarded when the staff was restricted from selling basketball ads to help finance the paper. But despite this difficulty, the staff furnished the students and parents with news in both the COQUILLE VALLEY SENTINEL and the WORLD, plus a bi-weekly mimeographed copy of the DEVIL’S TORCH. Enough funds were scraped together to provide the student body with three published issues, one at Christmas, one during February, and one at the close of the school year. SEATED--S.
