Let's sing it together! So go the lyrics of a song long-loved and long-remembered. And the writer of those lyrics closes with the words, ',ii,i',E Let's make life a Song! ag A song is a thing of beauty. In it we find harmony, a pleasing balance of notes of differing values, and a creation of rhythm and rhyme blended together to form something stimulating to all who hear it. So it is with the abundant life which all of us are seeking. In it we find a balanced personality, a ULIB sense of values, an irreproachable character, --a combination of rhythm and rhyme that make us into individuals who are acceptable to others. Mrs. Butch Pickettqthe former Oma Jean Larancej has just given each passenger nerve and nourishment pills to help calm the excitement caused by the emergency landing. As a result of the calming pills, all passengers have relapsed into a dreamy reminiscent mood. As NED HAR- MAN, the great atom plant tycoon who is financing this trip, removes his space helmet, says, In just an hour we were to pick -up our old buddies, DARWIN and Sara Lynn JACKSON fthe former SARA LYNN SCOTT, at their six thousand acre ranch on Mars. Suddenly with a flaming roar LUTHER TOWNSEND, owner of a chain of rocket stations from earth to Venus, drives up on an atomic -cycle. He asks, What can I do for you? Just as Commander Butch answers, a group of digni- taries arrive to investigate the trouble. To his surprise, Butch recognizes in the group two of his former school mates, DELARES WICHMAN and MARY ALICE DORSEY, now married to the Governor General and the Secretariat of Venus. As they are talking over old times, Mr. Townsend informs them that the rocket will not be ready for several hours. On hearing this, one of the passen- gers, Mr. Grafton Seale, radios his wife Qthe former MARY LOU LYONJ that they are being held up on Venus. when the message reaches Mrs. Seale in the good old U.S. A. , she is enter- taining two distinguished guests, the former VELMA AULDRIDGE, who is now married and working in her husband's business, The Big Henline Dipper Qdrug storey, and the former ROSALIE KIDDY, now Mrs. Cecil McCartney. As they extend their conversation Velma says, Have you heard about Mr. and Mrs. JAMES DAUDE'S newson, James Ir. ? QMrs. Daude is the former EDNA EARL HUGHESJ. Why, what a coincidence, says Rosalie, Mr, and Mrs. ORVIl.LE HALL have a new daughter, Nellie Ann, who is named after her mother. As the conversation continues, Velma informs the girls that her husband has just hired a new druggist, one of their old schoolmates, LANDIS POWELL. Meanwhile back on Venus, the rocket is preparing for a blast off. Two V.I.P. 's have boarded the rocket. They are DAVID FRITZ QC.P.A. for the League of Planets for Peacey accompanied by his wife and their black-headed children, and Rev. KENNETH ROSE of Boys' Town, Vents. After an exciting conversation among the old 1957 classmates of C. C. H. S. they all settle back for-Four -Three-Two -One -- -Blast-Off. 5644465 ,QV ,S 'M W., MRS, C. I.
