' by 'Richandaon ia Ecliton, Qafvzetaon adviaon Given the worries and pleasures ot putting out this year's volume of the Copley High CIRCLE was Madelyn Richardson, the NSS'-lfl6 editor, Mr. Garretson was shouldered with the responsihilityoiadvising her stafl' in putting out the paper. The purpose of the CIRCLE is to serve and re pre sent the school. This year's CIRCLE hrought uiany firsts to Copley through its puhlicaf tion. There were inore pictures than ever hefore, .1 newstyle oipaper, .ind one edition in color. This was Mr. Carretson's first year .is the .itzvisor for the CIRCLE, hut the results ol' his work usually upide hiizz look like he wasa veteran at it. He advised the staff uieuihers on different ways to inake niouey .ind enough was inade to coiuplete the year's work. On the other hand, lvladelyn has worked on the paper all tour years of high school. She started as .1 reporter in her freshman and sophomore years anti in her junior year was given the position of feature editor ller final year she then served as editor. '3inance Dept. Raiaea Wloneq Selling ads, subscriptions, and raising nponey through other pro- jects was the job of three people, Beverly Brenner, Dick Wehh, and Kathy Killian. Dick We hh was the treasurer antl kept all of the hooks. Beverly Brenner had charge oi selling all ads, Kathy Killian manage d the subscription canipaignandapproxi- niately 'Zi' I subscriptions were sold. The two other sta lit uienihers yet to he nieutione d were Tiui Lloyd, the s pe c i a l advisor, and C ei ro l y u Peteroli, the exchange editor. Tini's joh was advising the e ditor on special inatters, and C.irolyn's joh was to exchange and receive papers froui other schools.
