When the Class of ' 59 entered high school, there was a strange feeling of doubt and bewilderment. Four years later, as Seniors, we find that we can recall all the experiences and rewarding events which seemed to us problems too difficult to solve. As time elapsed, we discovered that these problems were only goals that had to be reached in order to obtain success. Throughout our high school years, we have been fortunate in having as our teachers Mr. Tarbox, Mr. Luthy, Mr. Casey, Mrs. Sanford, Mrs. Courtney, Miss Saunders, Mr. Hall and Mr. Sanders. Only with their guidance, help and understanding, has it been possible for us to obtain our goal as Seniors. Upon entering our Freshman year, we found ourselves to be more at ease and adjusted to high school life. That year a few of the boys became mem¬ bers of the FFA. Some of the girls played softball and basketball and a few became members of the FHA. Some of the members of our class participated in die school play. During the year several students left, cutting our class enrollment to seventeen. In our Sophomore year Billy Dameron and Billy Sydnor made the baseball and basketball teams. That year the girls ' softball team won the District F championship, in which our class was well represented by Marie, Alice, Mar¬ garet, Barbara and Ann. Nancy Delano and Billy Sydnor were elected to posi¬ tions in SCA. Next came our Junior year which was filled with many exciting and event¬ ful happenings. About the most exciting events were getting our rings and the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom. Although we exerted much thought and pre¬ paration, we found that our efforts were not in vain. Our theme was ' April Love ' . That year Nancy Delano and Billy Sydnor attended the SCA State Con¬ vention. Several girls were May Day attendants. Combining our work on our studies and annual in our Senior year has been quite a challenge. Our class officers are Ann Barnes, Margaret Brann and Nancy Lyell. Ann Barnes, Nancy Delano, and Marie Herbert are honor students. As graduation approaches and each member of our class enters his chosen field, we wish them good luck, and ex¬ tend our thanks to the faculty. Billy Sydnor
