He received his secondary edu¬ cation from Cople High School, Hague, where he graduated in George Dobyns English Jr. 1 1957. He has a farm background, | being raised on a farm and receiv-1 | ing Agricultural training at Vir-1 I ginia Polytechnic Institute.
