Martha Stkfany. A1 ttmni The second annual Alumni Reception to the new members was held in the High School rooms, Thursday. June 8, at 7.2b p. m. In order to make this reception a success the co-operation of all members of the association is necessary. A program had been arranged. It was of special interest as it was an alumni affair with “Reineniscences of the Past” in three parts. Refreshments were served after the program. An opportunity was given to those members who have failed to pay their dues to do so the evening of the reception. The list of Alumni follows. S.—5 Home Economics as a subject for study, was introduced into the Coplay schools through the efforts of Supt. Prin. Shetlock, who, seeing the work that was being done by the Junior Red Cross tor the comfort of the “Roys” in camp and abroad, conceived the idea of having the pupils of High and Junior High do their bit. and succeeded in having a period set apart each day for sewing and knitting.
