A V F pw Y The yearbook at Copiah-Lincoln Junior College had its beginning many years ago. The first year- book at Co-Lin was published in 1925 by the Copiah-Lincoln High School Senior class. The yearbook was then named THE CO-LIN. In 1934 Simpson County joined in support of Copiah-Lincoln Junior College. THE CO-LINwas then re- named the TRILLIUM after the three supporting counties: Copiah, Lincoln, and Simpson. The Trillium is a flower that is a native of North America. The parts of this large flower usually come in threes. The flower and the plant are both extremely vari- able. There are approximately twenty-eight species of the Trilli- um. They range in color from white to pink, red, purple, and yel- low. The three parts of the Trilli- um represent the three counties that first supported Copiah-Lin- coln Junior College. ff- vi?
