f' Natchez Trillium dedication goes to the Reverend Iames Baber Director of Special Services With Respect and Appreciation The Reverend Iames Baber is: 0 a graduate of Iackson State University with a B.A. in education and a M.S. in counseling. He holds a specialist certificate in developmental education from Appalchian State University in Boone, North Carolina, and is presently pursuing a specialist degree in counseling from Iackson State. ' dedicated to working for and with the students at the Natchez Campus. Baber has been di- rector of Special Services since 1980. ' past president and organizer of the Mississippi Association of Developmental Educators. ' chairman of the State Presidents Committee of the National Association of Developmental Educators. 0 a presenter at national, regional and state conferences. ' pastor and director of Hopewell M. B. Church in McCool, Mississippi. ' recognized in Outstanding Young Men of America, 1984 and the Directory of Distinguished Americans, 1984. 0 a nominee for Personality of the South for 1984-85 and for vice president of the National As- sociation of Developmental Educators for 1985.
