The 1984 TRILLIUM presents six graduating sophomores in the thirty-first selection on the Wesson campus and two graduating sophomores in the seventh selection on the Natchez campus. Each was nominated in open nominations, approved by a screening committee of fellow students, recommended by a faculty committee on the basis of character, leadership, and contribution to Copiah-Lincoln Junior College. Dating back to 1954, this year's Wesson campus selection adds six to the list of 92 previous winners. The two Natchez campus selections add to 13 chosen since the initiation of the Hall of Fame in 1978. Every minute that we were not in class, and many of those were skipped, we were working on the annual. We set aside Sunday afternoons from one until four to sleep and from four until five to consume a seven day supply of food. Seriously though, the annual has been quite a task, but a very enjoyable one. Our sincere appreciation must go to Burlian O'Neal Walker for his patience and advice. We hope that you have realized dreams this year and that all of your dreams of life come true. Just remember, never quit dreaming ....
