4, , .l N. X. Dr Billy B. Thames, president of the Copiah-Lincoln Junior College District since January, 1968, constantly works for expansion and growth of both the Wesson and the Natchez campuses. His years at Copiah-Lincoln have been highlighted with the completion of numerous new buildings, the renovation of older buildings, the founding in 1972 of the Natchez campus, and the continual increase in enrollment. Dr. Thames's leadership ability has been evidenced by his serving this year as president of the Mississippi Association of Colleges and as District Governor of the Lions'Club, International. He has served as president of the Mississippi Junior College President's Association and on numerous boards and committees, and in various offices for A professional, service, religious, and fraternal organizations. Dr. Thames is married to the former Anne Allen of Monticello and they are parents of Rachel, Rebecca, and William, Jr. K The Thames family: Rebecca, Rachel, Dr. and Mrs. Thames, and William.
