Others attending the golden anniversary class celebration, but not pictured, were Joe Brueck, Brookhaven, George Edwards, Summit, and Elizabeth Mullen Tate, Jackson. Copiah-Lincoln Junior College, recognized for its academics, vocational-technical programs, activities, and athletics during the years, became fifty years old during the 1978- 79 school session. Through its doors have passed thousands of young men and women. Through the lean years of its humble beginnings, the depression years, the war years when many students did not return home, the rebuilding years, and through the years of continued growth, Co-Lin has survived. Students have gone on to become nationally-known in many fields, well-known in state politics, business, industry, education, and in other areas. With this T in mind, we, the editors ofthe 1979 Trillium, wish to dedicate this book to the first class to at- tend Copiah-Lincoln, the Class of 1928.
