THE 1972 CO-LIN TRILLIUM IS DEDICATED TO . . . . . . a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Junior College who attended Loui- siana Slate University, and received a Bachelor of Music from Mississippi College . a graduate of New Qrleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Music degree . . a faculty member at Copiah-Lincoln Junior College for nine years in the music department. Choir director . . . instructor in music history . . . voice instructor . . . This year he became di- rector of the Sojourners. . . . a Wesson native . . . partially reared in New Orleans . . . his second home . director of music at Monticello Baptist Church for eight years. ln February he moved to Easthaven Baptist Church in Brookha- ven as choir director. . Appeared in lead role of El Gallo in Brookhaven Little Theatre's production of The Fantasticksu in 1971 . . . He has appeared in numerous musicals, operas, programs, and concerts throughout the state. . . . a bachelor . . . famous for his clothes and car . . . who loves fun . . . The City . . . seafood . . . and the sea. . It is with pleasure that the editors dedicate the 1972 TRIL- LIUM to Johnny Russell.
