WE DEDICATE THE 1970 TRILLIUM TO . .,. an instructor who has given 17 years of service to this institution a likeable gentlemen who served many years as director of transpor- tation at Copiah-Lincoln, and one who served in this position well the father of four outstanding Co-Lin graduates-Scottie, Eleanor, - Susie, and Becky a native of Rockport in Copiah County, a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Junior College with an AA degree and a vocational certificate a veteran of World War II who fought in the Battle of Bulge and who, during the war, was hospitalized for six months one who has performed many deeds for the student body at Co-Lin a former engineer with the Mississippi State Highway Department, the U. S, Engineering Department, and with Michael Baker Engineers a member of CLEA, MEA, 40 and 8, and the American Legion one who is devoted to his work, to his lovely wife, Nettie, to his family, and to Co-Lin a person whose students have gained insight and knowledge because of their association with him one whom we respect for his sincerity and good natured manner f, 4- , X ,- p .ww I I O g 2, An educated man stands, as it were, in the midst of a boundless arsenal and magazine, filled with all the weapons and engines which man's skills has been able to devise from the earliest times.
