Dedicated to the Distinguished Looking Young Man With the Corvette We have dedicated our annual to . . . the spectacled man with the ready smile whose wit often inspires laughter from those around him . a well-known campus favorite who is admired for his gracious manner, his understanding, and his grand sense of humor . a person who is willing to listen to our problems and offer his advice . one who enjoys teaching as much as his students enjoy being in his Classes . a Htravelin' man who spends his summers in Chica- go and his winters in Wesson . a devoted teacher who has enlightened our minds to new dimensions of the appreciation of the beauty in the realms of music . the conscientious individual who was responsible for our band and Colettes having the privilege of ap- pearing in the 1965 Macyis Thanksgiving Day parade, and being chosen as one of the 12 bands of the 196 in the nation applying for participation in that perform- ance . a gentleman who has dedicated eight years of his life to Copiah-Lincoln and Co-Lin students. Words cannot express the respect and gratitude of everyone, past and present, toward a man that has been counselor, teach- er, and friend.
