The Copenhagen Central School Varsity basketball team enjoyed a successful 1954-55 it ' campaign, They won 11 games and lost 7, they also won the Championship of the Front- ier League for the second consecutive year, Under the guidance of Coach Sherman Pohl, the Golden Knights amassed 1001 points to their opponents 993. High scorer was Roger Shambo with 193 points. Other players with 100 points or more are Allen Birchenough with 181 points, Larry Woodruff with 150 points, Gerald Carter with 125 points and Bob Byrnes with 120 points.
