Come home right after school. You have a full tank of gas! Don't cruise at lunch, ride with someone else or walk. Now get off to school so you won't be late. Be care- ful, just remember it's your car now, so it's your responsibility . . . Many sophomores found this to be true when they en- countered the first car experience. This was the time when Mommy and Daddy claimed the car was all yours, but the new driver found that quite often there were many rules attached, to the responsibility of owning a car. A new sophomore driver was usually spotted at lunch as the one who was out of the parking lot before anyone else was in their car or the first one running down the hall, eager to feel the power of being behind the wheel.
