Forword In the fall of 1955 about one hundred and fifty students entered Coopersville High School as fresh- men. They started on their high school career un- certain of themselvesg step by step they advanced. Occasionally some would stumble and fall, but through the encouragement of Mr. Conran and experienced teachers, the again began to walk. These steps have led them to 1959 - graduation year. The journey will not stop here, however. They have chosen as their class motto, One step at a time, but always forwardf' 3

MR. ROBINSON Even though a purchase price is fixed for the hook, it is difficult to deter- mine all the values that accompany it. The staff has gained some invaluable experiences in planning, composing, photography, and arrangement. Some salesmanship was involved in obtaining advertising and disposing of the hook to students and others. Cooperation with others was necessary. The educational and social values to the staff of those experiences cannot he fixed in terms of money. To the students, the purchasers, the worth of the book lies in the written and pictured record of fond memories of friends and events.
