The Board of Education wishes to congratulate the Class of 1955 and encourage each student to gain further know- ledge in his or her chosen vocation. The many problems that confront the coming genera- tions in all walks of life certainly are going to demand a better understanding of social, political, and spiritual liv- ing — which higher education can help to supply. Not only are those people to benefit that avail themselves of higher learning but likewise the community will be enriched through their contributions.
