DEDICATION Music Speaks! HI am powerful, dynamic. and can move the hardest hearts to realize love and understand- ing, 'Throughout the ages I have 'been a divine blessing to man -to inspire him, to bring him peace in time of strife. to give him courage, hope and love. Because I am the only language which is understood and enjoyed by everyone. I can lead men toward hap- piness and mutual understanding. I create in the soul a desire for that which is really worth while in this life. Some one has said of me. 'Music is the only art of Heaven given to man, the only art of earth we take to Heavenf' It is to this ennolbling and inspiring art that the Senior Class of '47 wishes to dedicate this annual. We hope that its language, universal in appeal. will be instrumental in cementing a friendship among peo- ple and nations that will lead to world brotherhood and peace.
