LITERARY CLUB There are twenty-seven members in the club. During the first few weeks the members were practicing parliamentary pro- cedure as well as organizing themselves. The club officers are: President Marjorie Nichols Vice-President Gordon VanHuizen Secretary Helen Wilson Treasurer Mary Schmidt Program Chairman Mildred Waldie After the election a constitutional committee was appointed and they drew up a constitution. Several very interesting con- versations have been had. Also each member gave a single panto- mime and in addition group pantomimes were portrayed. A play, “The Grand Shan’s Diamond,” was given by a few. Our work is educational and serves as an entertainment for all members also. Our director is Miss Prolo. MARJORIE NICHOLS First Row—F. Library assignments were given out so that everyone got a chance to work in the library and learned to take care of books by doing so. W’e also mended books that had been torn or otherwise impaired.
