FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA The Future Farmers of America is an intra- curricular activity having its origin and root in a definite part of the school curriculum--vocational agriculture. Among other things, members learn through active participation how to conduct and take part in a public meeting, to speak in publicg to buy and sell co-operativelyg to solve their own problemsg to finance themselvesg and to assume civic responsibility. The foundation upon which the F. F. A. organization is built, includes leader- ship and character development, sportsmanship, cooperation, service, thrift, scholarship, improved agriculture, organized recreation, citizenship and patriotism.
