emor Cfaaa Adfor In the fall of 1950 srxry eager Freshmen entered the halls of Cooper determmed to become the graduatmg class of 55 We were assrgned homerooms 1 and 5 under the sk1l1 ful gurdance of Mrs Raymond Larson and Mrs Zanada DICICCO At our frrst class meetmg we elected these offrcers to lead us through the year Jean Shrfter Presrdent Ernre Force Vrce Presrdent Kay Lutz Sec retary and Mary Lou Rauch, Treasurer We were well represented rn the frelds of sports and dramatncs durmg our freshmen year The followmg year we entered Cooper as Sophrstrcared Sophomores Our class advrsors were Mrs Raymond Larson and Mr john Delxman It drdnt take long to elect our class offrcers Bernard Kask Presndent Tom Granvxlle Vlce Presrdenr Mary Lou Rauch Secretary and Ernre Force Treasurer Betty Jane Lawrence was selected cheerleader from our class We dlsplayed great actlng ab1l1ty wrth the unforgettable sophomore play The Darlmg Brats The brg soclal event of the year was the Sophomore Jamboree At the lectmg our class rmgs In the year 1953 we were together agam but thrs time as jolly JUHIOIS Many events h1ghl1ghted our junxor year Our play F1nders Creepers proved to be a great success The Halloween Party was another hlghlnght Headmg the hst of memorable occasrons of the year were the jumor Semor Prom held at the ballroom of the Phrlrps Hotel and our trrp to Gettysburg We had nine students on the Cotohrsc staff and a number of boys were on the football and baseball teams We were also well repre sented ln the chorus and band Our officers were Erme Force Presrdent jane Hum mel Vnce Presrdent Jean Shrfrer Secretary and Lynn Groe 'Ireasurer At last we were Semors and happy to be attamnng our goal of graduatlon but we were saddened to fmd that our number had decreased to forty three members The offrcers were Kay Lutz Presxdent Tom Granvrlle Vrce Presrdent jean Shrfter Sec retary and Lynn Groe Treasurer Our flnal dramarrc presentarnon was The Angell Brars Many of our class served very captbly on the Cotohrsc and Coopernmn staffs A number of our class contrrbuted talent rn the musxcal orgamzatrons and brawn on the athletrc field The sprmg trlp to Washnngton was an unforgettable event clrmaxed shortly there after by our graduanon exerclses Four years of fun and work are behmd us 5 Q C CLASS OFFICERS K Lutz, J.
