zfmior A5 for? Last years Sophomores, but grown up since ttien and now luniors, immediately put their shoulder to the wheel in an effort to retain their previous high standing. Elected to assist Miss lones with the such cessful carrying out of class affairs were: Thomas Larson, President: Paul Hartle, Vice President: lean Erickson, Secretary: Gloria Fleming, Treasurer. As the opening feature of what was to prove a very successful social season came the funior Halloween party on October l9, pro! claimed by all an enjoyable occasion. The dramatic season was ushered in on December i9 when the versatile luniors again scored a triumph in a three-act comedy entitled, Coznin' Thru the Rye. We luniors also received acclaim in the scholastic field by having the largest represen- tation in the honor groups. IUNZOH HONOR GROUP ns ow ff. Matsko, ff. billy, D. Potter, I. Erickson, M, Harvey, A Heaton. and How A. Z-Kits, M. Renaud, G. Fleming, I. Sclnnoke, M Hoi nvr-i, R. Ksiphtnt, F. Raymond. Tlindfiow- fi. Canton-t, N. Muirhoad, T. Larson. The outstanding salesrnanship during the Curtis Magazine Campaign of our home room sponsor Miss lones, gained us further recogni- tion. Following her remarkable example, we topped the roster on the winning team. Two of the high offices in the journalistic field, Co-editor of Cotohisc and Coheditor of Coopernian, were justly awarded to Gloria Fleming and Alice Heaton, members of our class. As the fitting climax to a highly successful social season, we presented, as a final tribute to the departing Seniors, the annual lunior- Senior Banquet. This event was held on the eve of May 3, at Cooper Grove, where students and teachers alike took part in the festivities. We will return to finish our last year at Cooper. We hope it will be as successful as all the others. IUNiOR OFFICERS ivan Erickson, Paul Hfntlsf, Thomas Itirson, Gloria Flcmin Q The Coopernian - X
