P1 g The Editor in Chief of the COTOHISC and her Associates plan the next issue. After ten years of inactivity and in reply to the ref quest of students, the Cotohisc, the newspaper of Cooper Township High School, was awakened from its rest to be published again. The new paper is written, edited, and mimeographed by students. The editor- in-chief is selected by the faculty advisors for one school term. He, in turn, chooses the rest of the staff. The paper's unique name is derived from the first two letters of the four words in the name of the High School. Thus, the Cotohisc came into being. In December 1941, the first edition of the second series was issued. lt was a success and the monthly editions have been continued ever since. This paper includes features which appear in every school paper. These include: news of school activities, amusing incidents from classes, an editorial on a cur- rent subject, and gossip columns. A large number of Cotohiscs are mailed each month to Cooperriians in the Armed Forces. Their letters of appreciation are included in following issues. 24 llutuhisr Stall Editor-in-Chief: Carol Moyle Associate Editors: Lucy Briel Kathleen McNeish Audrey Holley Reporters: Cecilia Ftasdorf Alice Morlock Earl Moore lolin Deliman Frank Rackish Burton Cowder lean Erickson Thomas Larson Ieanne Peavy Robert lohnson Miles Pelton Sports Editors: Roger Moyle Arnold Anderson Art Editors: Paul Hartle lolin Humenik Carl Anderson Typists and Mimeographists Graden Beals Helen Duga loan May Margaret Zetts Alfred Moyle Robert Dixon Business Manager: George Meyer Eiwulty Advisers: Miss Dill Mi.
