The 1975 fall opened up a hectic season for the Cooper students as traditional activities added to the excitement of the approaching bi-centennial year. The Big Blue Cougar Band began the marching season by participating in the annual West Texas Fair Parade. The student body spirit rose during football season as the cheer- leaders, Coop, and band performed their best at games and pep rallies. A 50's day allowed the students to enjoy dressing like the teens of theast. The annual Merry Andrew Assembly exhibited the talent at Cooper and provided a pleasant break in the daily routine. Miss Merry Andrew for 1975 was Pam Harkness and George Hogan was selected Best Male Talent. Homecom- ing festivities and assemblies with groups such as Damascas Road, succeeded in entertaining the student body. The cli- max of the fall season was reached with the presentation of the fall production, The Devil's Disciple . After selective try-outs were held an excellent cast was chosen.
