MR. JOHN I. DOWNEY, M.A. Principal MESSAGE to the CLASS of 1952 The strongest human friendships are, for the most part, formed during high school days. It is in these formative years that permanent behavior patterns are set for the remainder of life. I consider each member of the Class of 1952 a special friend and it is a pleasure to feel that a mutual bond of friendship is established. Your schoolaims to suenghten your appreciation of these bonds of friendship between teachers and students. As the years go by, honor these ties in word and deed. Be faithful to the teachings and traditions of J. W. Cooper High School. May success and good fortune always be your lot in Life. if .
