The true benefactor of mankind, however, coimts his success not in how muc h money or power or prestige he has garnered for himself, but rather what contribution he has made to his fellow-man. Such is the type of man that Shenandoah has known for the past twenty-four years. Mr. A. J. Ratchford has given unstintingly of his time and talents to our s c hools as well as to the community in general. His contributions to the educational and social welfare of our community are without parallel.
