9016 WUI? Life has shown no greater challenge than that received during our four years at dear ole Cooper High School. Striving toward this goal has been a pleasure and a blessing bestowed upon us by the many people who cared for and guided us. The hectic events of our high school days have brought us closer together to help us solve the frantic problems facing us in the future world. But the secret of happiness is not doing what you like, but liking what you do. Mistakes are made by the best of men, to say the least of us. We, as Seniors of 1967, do sincerely hope that this book shows the hardships and pleasures we had in producing the 1967 Cooper High Eagle. 2

DSDJ624 WOW It is only proper that we, the class of 1967 should dedicate this Annual to a person who has been associated with Cooper High School for such a long time as a guidng light to all students. We feel this is more than a trivial honor of courtesy. We speak of Mrs. G. W. Kennedy. This dedication is a small token from us, the students, Staff, and Faculty of Cooper High School. You have sent many students on the road to success through your suggestions, personal example and inspiration. You have sacrificed your leisure time to assist students in whatever capacity needed. By and large, you are a true personal friend, not only to the graduating class, but to the entire student body. May God richly bless you, and in the years to come, may the pages of this book bring you many pleasant memoreis of the Class of 1967. 4
