OE Division The story starts out down at headquar ters, which is located in a small space be- low the messdecks. A phone call relates a trouble spot and instantly an investigator starts into action. A short time later he returns with the facts fully analyzed. The chief assigns his most competent man and sends him into the troubled area. In most cases the troubleshooter returns shortly with the satisfaction of a job well done. This briefly describes a segment of the operation of the Electronics Technician Gang, known as the ET Gang . Their daily duties consist of maintaining the shipfs radars, communications and navigation equipment, and standing electronic coun- ter-measure watches.
