To WM Division belongs the responsi- bility of maintaining the Terrier Guided Missile Launching System and the Terrier Guided Missiles themselves. The many missiles must be periodically tested to ensure that they are GO , ready for firing at all times. The electrical and hydraulic Missile Loading and Launching equipment requires loving care to keep it in top notch condition. When a threat to the ship exists and General Quarters is sounded, each man quickly mans his station in the mis- sile House. The Missiles are brought up to the assembly area from the maga- zine, fitted with fins and readied for firing. They can then be moved directly on to the launcher for the immediate defense of the ship. Division 2' ,-r LTJG R. P. REMPT, USN Missile Officer
