HOMECOMING DAY The drum begins to roll, the crowd begins to hush, and suspense is in mid- air, until Bob Adams places the crown on Kim Kuelbs, and then, Natalie Gessel places the crown on Dave Amundson. The crowd jumps up and cheers. What an exciting moment for everyone. Coronation of the King 8t Queen oc- curs during a pep assembly which cheerleaders, danceline, band, choir, orchestra, and student body all could participate, even the teachers. Every year since the school opened, it has been a tradition for the teachers to put on a teacher-faculty skit. This year, their theme was Big Red Riding Hood , with Mr. Carlson playing Big Fled. THE PARADE There also was a big CRS!-l Home- coming parade, in which judging for the best float entered and best marching band. The judging was done by Chuck Wallace who awarded DECA first place float and Cooks second place float. First place band award went to Jack- son Jr. High.
