Three Teadrers Graduate with Students As many students leave Cooley for new experiences and knowledge, Miss Marian Crosby, home eco- nomics teacherg Mrs. Gladys Houge, commercial teacherg and Ralph Twitchell retire into an also new life. Miss Crosby can recall a day in i927 when she and Mr. Emmons first officially opened Cooley's doors. ln 28 years of service Mrs. Houge has placed many of her commercial students in jobs. When Mr. Twitchell announced his retire- ment after thirty years of teaching at Cooley, he was given a trophy by his Trig. class. The letter accompanying the award read, All of us have had you as a teacher, and we feel that the knowl- edge we gained in your classes invaluable. Your friendly mannerism and down-to-earth way of teaching made every day in class a worthwhile one. Therefore, we would like to present to you this Most Valuable Teacher Award.
