PRQPI-IECY Although I have only the faces of the Seniors to go by, I shall try to focretell the future of the members of the Class of '49, So if these prophecies don't material- ize, kind friends, don't find fault with the prophet, blame the Seniors' faces. Ten years from now, Peggy Jean Blackwood will be a famous hair stylist, known all over the world. , Mary Alice Miller will be Head Dietitian at the University of North Car-olina. Bob Daniels will have a chain of furniture stores all over the United States. Joe Cuthrell and George Jordan will be co-owners of the Daffy Dill Circus. Irene Spry will have her own program over the CBS hook-up. The name of it will be 'iName It--And I'll Sing. Edna Call, Sarah Cartner, and Evelyn Frye will go to Washington, D. C., to work for the Government under civil service. Harold Wagner will go into the Armed Forces in 1950: he will become a Staff Sergeant in 1959. Pauline Gales will be married to her present admirer, and will be living in Florida. Iva Grey Eller will also be married to her present admirer, and will be teaching the first grade at Cooleemee School. Barbara Jean Spillman will be a model for Harry Conover. And Sonny, who can't take No for an answer, will be in New York also, still trying to get Barbara to say Yes, In his leisure time, Sonny will be an architect. Dorcas Alexander, a New York artist, will have on display some of her paintings at the Worlds Fair. Claude Clawson will buy the Stop-and-Shop from the present owner, but because he doesn't like hard work, he will have Lloyd Troutman doing the work for him.
