SECRETARY On September seventh we Sophomores wearily started our journey through the nine long months of school. We reported to our home room203 and were surprised to see Mr. Fugina, our new advisor. The first thing we did was elect our class officers. For the executive seat we elected Mary, in case of her death her duties will be taken over by Dick. Norma became our Secretary, and Faye took over our financial problems. As football season kicked around we were proud to have Andy, Dick, Ken, Wally, Vern, John, Gluey, and David representing our class on the team. Most of the girls joined the F.T.A. and Byron, Keith, and Gluey are members of the F.F.A. The chorus was well supported with most of us attending. As basketball season rolled around Wally, Andy, Dick, Ken, Gluey, Norman, Keith, Vern, David, and John appeared as our stars. Leading the cheering were Mary and Ardyce. For the basketball homecoming Janice was chosen as our Lady-In-Waiting. She was escorted by our basketball star, Wally, Our class led the sale of magazines with Ardyce as the top sahxman. For our selling ability we were given a party. Most of us joined the Square Dance Club and Mary was elected as the secretary-treasurer. Ardyce, Keith, and Barbara Trygg represented our class in speech. Though we've accomplished little we've had a lot of fun as Soph- omores and are looking forward to becoming Juniors.
