Q8 O 'S G9 C353 GL., QM We all came happily back to good old Cook' High on September 7, l95L.. We reported to Room 205 and were happy to find Mrs. Wurzel our class advison First of all, we thought we should keep our class in order, so we elected class officers. The electees were Dick as president, Andy as vice-president Mary as Secretary, and Vern as Treasurer.- We decided Andy would be best to represent us on the G. O. Council. To help out in Red Cross Mary and Keith were chosen. Andy, Kenny, Richard J., Wally, Dick, David, Keith, John and Vern were all spotted on the field as football season came. We say they all came through with no broken bones. We found most of the girls in the Freshmen class helping out teachers in F.T.A. and we're sure they would all make excellent Working hard with Mrs. Wurzel to keep the library going were S., Barbara S., Dorothy A., Norma, and Kathleen. are glad to the emmenuuy teachers. Carol, Nancy We couldn't help but notice Barbara S., Norma, and Byron playing in the band wearing their new uniforms. The voices of over half our class were heard in the chorus. fun singing at the programs and the Music Festival. They all had we were certainly prouu to see Ardyce and Carol chosen as the two add- itional cheerleauers. We think they did very well and hope they keep up the good work. The HBH squad in basketball did pretty well this year with Andy, Richard J., Wally, Kenny, Dick, Keith, and Norman on the team for our class. We were all pretty proud watching them play. Participating in speech were Dorothy A. and Kathleen. We all enjoyed our year as Freshmen and are eagerly looking forward to becoming Sophomores.
